Surgical Critical Care Fellowship

Investigate and develop new ideas to advance effective clinical treatment of critical care patients while providing excellent patient services and training future critical care surgeons.

What sets us apart?

Become a surgical intensivist in our specialized training program, where you will work alongside experts including L.D. Britt, MD, MPH, considered by the American College of Surgeons to be the founder of the specialty of acute care surgery.

Handle total patient management in a multidisciplinary team environment, manage and interpret data from invasive monitoring devices, promote leadership and administration of critical care services, and perform basic science and clinical research. Our graduates assume leadership roles in surgical critical care and provide optimal patient care in academic tertiary or community environments.
