Hails from: Seattle is my soul city
My favorite thing about EVMS: I get to work with a culturally and socioeconomically diverse population, despite not being in a major metropolitan area. I get to give people a chance to have their voices heard.
The best part about Hampton Roads: The Elizabeth River Trail comes to mind right away! There are lots of running clubs and events in the area. I also love Ghent specifically, because the neighborhood isn't overcrowded but has the walkability of a bigger city.
