The Urogynecology division treats women with pelvic floor disorders, such as urinary or fecal incontinence and prolapse (bulging) of the female organs. Our comprehensive pelvic floor center allows physicians and support staff to work together to diagnose and care for pelvic floor disorders. Since many pelvic floor disorders are interrelated, patients may begin treatment with one specialist and get further treatment from another. Patients are guided by our experienced staff throughout the whole process. Our physicians are committed to improving the quality of life for patients.

We offer an elective in urogynecology for fourth-year medical students. The third-year resident assumes chief-level responsibilities on the urogynecology service.

The Urogynecology division is currently conducting studies in urinary incontinence and prolapse repair.
