Required Software

The following software is required for EVMS network access and functionality on campus:

  • Microsoft Office 2016 Standard Edition or higher**
  • Adobe Reader DC, Acrobat DC, or Acrobat Pro DC
  • Virus protection (McAfee is provided to full-time students upon matriculation)

** Free Access to Office 365 for Education may be obtained after enrollment in your respective program. Additional software may be available with a student account. Visit the MyPortal "Student Software Download" section for more information.

  • External Storage Device - Large capacity jump or external drive for data backup***
