Masking

Masking is optional in all on-campus buildings and in all healthcare settings.

Patients, visitors or employees in healthcare settings may choose to wear a mask.

EVMS Medical Group advises that patients with any respiratory symptoms should continue to mask to prevent spreading the infection to others.

Healthcare team members must continue to follow standard and transmission-based precautions during all patient encounters.

Please continue to be responsible if you are feeling sick. Employees are still required to complete the RedCap survey. Please stay home if you are not feeling well and wear a mask if experiencing cold-like symptoms to keep the EVMS community safe and healthy.

Social distancing

The two-person per elevator restriction has been lifted. While social distancing is no longer required, it is still recommended for individuals who are not up to date on COVID-19 vaccines or those at higher risk of getting sick with COVID-19.
