Why did you choose this program? I was drawn to this institute because of the broad clinical exposure to a diverse patient population, outstanding and engaged faculty, and a very supportive and positive resident culture.  Coastal Virginia is a special place with the beach in our backyard and the mountains only a short drive away.

Advice for future applicants: Get involved gaining as much experience as you can through rotations at your home institution, getting involved in research projects early and often, attending conferences, and doing as many away rotations as possible.  This will help solidify your choice of a career in Dermatology as well as to gain exposure to the many facets of this incredible field.
