Why did you choose this program? I was thrilled to have matched with the Dermatology program, after having been a medical student here, because of the incredible variety of clinical experiences it provides, both in traditional academic settings and in partnership with the community. There are so many amazing mentors, with a wealth of experience, who are genuinely invested in your education and want to help you learn and succeed.

What advice do you have for students applying to dermatology? Maximize every opportunity to become involved in dermatology related activities. Attend Dermatology Grand Rounds, become involved in dermatology-related research, and learn all you can during your dermatology and other medical-school rotations. Find mentors in dermatology, both residents and beyond, who can coach you and advise you.
