Why did you choose this program? This program, nestled in Coastal Virginia, offers excellent clinical and academic experiences in a very supportive and constructive environment. It offers the opportunity to work directly with a faculty that is extremely dedicated to education and personal development as a physician. Although a smaller program research experiences are available and have helped to guide my career path.
What advice do you have for students applying to dermatology? Focus on how Dermatology satisfies your interests. A genuine interest and commitment to a field of medicine and research is a self-guiding attribute. Stay persistent and follow your dream.
