The EVMS GME Ombudsperson service is designed to assist residents/fellows in developing plans for addressing unresolved training-related concerns.

Residents/fellows are encouraged to initially address training-related concerns, complaints, or conflicts, with their Chief Residents, Program Director, Departmental Chair, and/or the Vice Dean/Associate Vice Dean for Graduate Medical Education.

If the concern/complaint/conflict is not resolved through these channels, or the resident/fellow is not comfortable addressing through these channels, or needs assistance developing a plan for discussion of the training-related concerns, the GME EVMS GME Ombudsperson is a safe and confidential resource.
