It’s important that people eat foods high in proteins. Protein helps to keep us fuller longer and adds flavor to our food. Before donating to your local food pantry, please check the expiration dates on items. If donating fresh or frozen meat, make sure the food has not spoiled. Donate low-sodium canned goods whenever possible.  Please consider donating the following:

  • Turkey
  • SPAM

  • Peanut butter

  • Boxed, shelf-stable milk

  • Shelf-stable milk alternatives (like soy, rice, or almond milks)
