2022 Survey
The 2022 HEDS survey was administered to EVMS students from February 7, 2022 to April 15, 2022. The survey was administered electronically with an invitation to participate emailed to all students. The full frequency report data contains a comparison for EVMS data against students at other institutions who participated in the survey for the 2019–2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 academic years.
Approximately 264 EVMS students completed the full survey, for an overall response rate of 21%. This is higher than the 15% response rate from advanced degree students at other institutions.
In addition to the frequency data, some students provided open-ended comments (identifiers were scrubbed by HEDS and no comments were linked to any other data for anonymity). Comment data will not be provided, but generally reflect concerns or feedback about:
- Unsatisfactory action or no consequences for respondents in past cases
- Harassment via social media or text
- Concerns about not being able to keep reporters anonymous when addressing matters
- Additional safety and training suggestions
