Nancy M. Khardori, MD, PhD, FACP, FIDSA

Infectious Disease

Dr. Nancy Khardori received her Graduate Medical degree from the Gov. Medical College in Srinagar, Kashmir, India followed by Postgraduate degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.

She completed a three year Postdoctoral fellowship in microbiology and Immunology from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, USA

Subsequently, she completed Residency training in Internal Medicine from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois, USA and Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA.

 

Since 1986, she has been involved in Clinical Infectious Diseases Practice; Research and Clinical Microbiology Laboratory work; teaching in Microbiology / Immunology, Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases; and Infection Prevention services / Antibiotic Stewardship programs at major teaching hospitals in the USA. She has published original research in major national and international journals and is a reviewer for a number of them. Her publications include a number of reviews, book chapters and books including one on Infectious diseases Emergencies and bioterrorism.
