Medical Education: Ross University School of Medicine

Hometown: Newport News, Virginia

Why EVMS?: One of the main reasons I chose EVMS was the close proximity to my hometown. Residency is a challenging time, so having friends and family nearby was important to me. On top of that, I like the fact that we have the opportunity to rotate at several different hospitals. Having exposure across multiple institutions will be an advantage when adapting to practice outside of residency.

Hobbies: Fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, gardening and raising houseplants.

Areas of Interest: Nephrology and Pulmonary/Critical Care. Bedside ICU procedures and procedure teams.

Future Goals: Nephrology and Pulm/Crit in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
