Why EVMS?: I chose EVMS because it provides ample opportunity to grow as a physician through the diverse patient population served, the research opportunities and in house fellowship tracks available. These factors in combination with the spirit of camaraderie among its attendings and residents made it a solid choice for me.
Hobbies: Reading, photography, art, swimming.
Areas of Interest: Currently, I am interested in Global Health, partly because of my background but also because America is an ethnic and cultural melting pot. I think it is helpful to have an understanding of the unique health concerns of different population groups.
Future Goals: Not currently sure which track I want to follow (fellowship vs hospitalist).
