Geriatrics fellows pose with program leadership

Geriatric Medicine Fellowship

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based, person-centered care to older adults as a graduate of The Lillian & Gideon Welles Grime Fellowship in Geriatrics.

What sets us apart?

Our fellows learn about unique characteristics of disease and illness to provide older patients with the compassionate care they deserve. We prepare fellows to teach, conduct research in aging, administer care and attain certification in the subspecialty of Geriatric Medicine or a Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine. Fellows attend local, state and national meetings and work on-campus with EVMS' well-respected Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology to advance care for the aging population.
