Why I chose EVMS: There are many reasons I chose EVMS! The residents and faculty I met when I did my away rotation here during my 4th year of medical school were so welcoming and happy. I loved seeing that the residents had formed strong friendships with one another and their co-resident's spouses and families. Also, with my husband stationed in Norfolk, I already knew how much I loved the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area. My husband and I now get to live together with our dog in Chicks Beach, just steps away from the bay and a 20 minute commute to EVMS! I knew EVMS was where I would be my happiest!
