Why I Chose EVMS: I chose EVMS as my first choice because I believe the residency will prepare me to be a great physician in both an academic and community setting. I was impressed with the faculty and their love of the program during my interview day. The residents were very friendly and helpful during the course of the interview process as well. For these reasons, it felt like a great fit for me. Not to mention living by the beach was an easy sell to my wife.
