Why I Chose EVMS: Excellence in training, high operative volume and clinical exposure, the opportunity to learn from experienced and skilled faculty, track record for excellent fellowship matches. Norfolk was also a great location for my family - my wife (a CHKD peds resident), our daughter, and our black lab.
Interesting fact: I am an avid home cook and I love experimenting with familiar recipes as much as new ones. Some of the most requested foods by my friends/family are smash burgers, curried butternut squash soup, and Atlantic beach pie.
