Why I Chose EVMS: I really liked the area and location of EVMS. I also enjoyed the people I met on my interview and how spouses were included and welcome at residency events. Graduates of this program have been successful straight out of residency as general surgeons, and successful in pursuing fellowships.
Hobbies & Interests: I like to draw and paint, and recently I have been getting into medical illustration. My husband loves fishing and has been helping me improve my skills.
