Why I Chose EVMS: I liked the different types of settings we train in from a level 1 trauma center to a community general surgery practice. I feel like this will prepare me well to be a community general surgeon in the future with the trauma/acute care experiences along side the outpatient elective procedures at our community hospital partner.
Hobbies & Interests: Running, swimming, and restoring my 1969 VW Beetle with my husband, Going to the beach, trying new breweries, traveling, and playing with my dog
