The outcome measures* of the Pathologists’ Assistant program reflects how well the program prepares students for the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) exam, as well as for employment.

All three parameters: ASCP pass rate, Graduation rate, and Job placement rate should be 100% for both 2024 and 2025.

Granting of the degree from the PathA program is not contingent upon passing the ASCP certification examination.

Pathologists’ Assistants are not required to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Pathologists’ Assistant program does not lead to licensure, and does not meet the requirements in order to become licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We cannot confirm whether the Pathologists’ Assistant program meets all of the licensure requirements for students residing outside of Virginia. Requirements for professional licensure can vary by state and can change without notice. All prospective students should consult the state licensing body in the state in which they reside or seek to be licensed to ensure that the degree they earn will meet the requirements for licensure in that state.
