The Sentara Center for Simulation and Immersive Learning is located on the 2nd floor of Harry T. Lester Hall that opened in August 2011 as the Education and Research Building and was renamed in April 2013 to honor former EVMS president Harry T. Lester.
The state-of-the-art facilities include:
16 clinical exam rooms(each approx 250 sq ft.)
6 group skills rooms to stage ED, OR, Ward training with the use of mannequins
2 conference rooms
Classroom with audio/visual recording and streaming technology
Task trainer/procedural device room
Audiovisual recording and review capability (CAE LearningSpace)
