Ways to Give

Of the many ways to give to Eastern Virginia Medical School, most supporters choose cash and cash equivalents, whether as annual gift to the EVMS Fund, a one-time gift, or a gift pledged over a period of years.

A cash gift entitles you to the most generous federal income tax charitable deduction up to 50 percent of adjusted gross income. If all deductible gifts in that year exceed the 50-percent limit, the excess amount may be carried over as a deduction for up to five years.

Your check should be made payable to EVMS Foundation and, to ensure that it is properly credited, must be accompanied by a letter outlining the purpose of the gift. Mail checks to the Foundation at the following address:
