Goal

The OB/GYN Hospitalist Fellowship is a one-year academic training program designed to train experts and leaders in OB/GYN hospitalist medicine with a focus in acute care obstetrics.

Vision

The increasing acuity, needs, and disparities that affect obstetric and gynecologic patients, in addition to the changing structure of health care teams and delivery systems, have led to a need for physicians with expertise in management of these patients in the acute care setting. Our program seeks to train experts who will also be leaders in this growing and necessary evolving subspecialty.

Target applicant

Obstetricians/gynecologists who have completed an OB/GYN residency program and desire careers in OB/GYN hospitalist medicine or academic obstetrics and gynecology. The ideal applicant is dedicated to quality improvement and reducing disparities in care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs in the hospital setting.
