Andrew Moore, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and clinical researcher at EVMS. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Moore is a core faculty member of the Advanced Gynecologic Surgery Center and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at EVMS.

His clinical interests consist of complex gynecological surgery and medical education. Dr. Moore earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is a board-certified fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has earned his Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery practice designation through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Moore performs vNOTES (vaginal laparoscopic) procedures as a part of his surgical practice and is dedicated to insuring fellows and residents continue to have exposure to vaginal access techniques when performing pelvic surgeries. He serves as the medical director of the Sentara Center for Simulation and Immersive Learning and the clinical director of the Clinical Research Center within the OB/GYN department.
Additionally, Dr. Moore serves as one of the Co-Clerkship Directors for the medical student rotations within the OB/GYN department.
