What are your favorite hobbies? I am passionate about the Greek language. I was partly raised by my immigrant Greek grandmother who spoke to me in her language. In HS and college, I was enthusiastic about filling in language gaps. I watched full series of popular Greek TV shows and read translated literature classics. A related hobby in medical school has been referring to Greek medical textbooks I have found. I am proud to now be able to fully converse with locals on my trips back to Greece, where I have also volunteered as a student.
