A Pilot Program has been implemented by the federal government to provide enhanced whistleblower protection for employees working as contractors, subcontractors, or grantees on a federal grant. If you are an EVMS employee working on a federal grant, you need to be aware of the protections provided under this program and you should take the time to careful review the details of the Pilot Program.
As a reminder to all employees, allegations related to animal or research misconduct should be reported to the EVMS Research at 757.446.8473 or 757.446.8480 or to the EVMS Compliance at 757.446.6008 immediately. Further, allegations of non-compliance with laws, regulations, policies or patient related issues should be reported in accordance with the EVMS Compliance Programs.
