The Eastern Virginia Medical Center is comprised of the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD), Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), Norfolk Department of Public Health (NDPH), and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH) and is located on the south side of Hampton Roads in Norfolk, Virginia.

Transportation
The Eastern Virginia Medical Center (EVMC) Shuttle Service provides transportation for patients to the EVMC patient care facilities.
The EVMC Shuttle Service provides transportation for faculty, staff, students, medical residents, visitors, patients and fellows to all campus facilities. Shuttle service hours for the EVMS main campus are 5:30 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday. Shuttle schedules run every 10 to 15 minutes.

Shuttle service hours for the EVMC south campus are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday throug h Friday. Contact 757.446.5199 or use intercom located in service shelters or at parking lot entry gates. Allow up to 30 minutes for shuttle to arrive when visiting the south campus.
