Research spotlights

EVMS medical students are at the forefront of groundbreaking research.

One of them is Aracelia Aldrete, a current MS2 from San Francisco. A former EVMS Summer Scholar, she has worked on projects as diverse as measuring the effectiveness of virtual reality and tracing speech therapy outcomes in bilingual patients with cleft lip and/or palate.

EVMS Research Day included platform and poster presentations from EVMS students, residents, and fellows. A record number of participants presented their research, celebrating the research conducted at EVMS.

EVMS Research Day

EVMS Research Day includes basic and applied research. It showcases the exciting and varied research conducted in the biomedical field within the EVMS community.

This event gives young investigators the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with peers and colleagues in an informal, one-on-one format made available through a poster session. Outstanding abstracts will be selected for poster and oral presentations.
