Several EVMS faculty members have a Doctor of Health Sciences degree. Here is what they have to say about how obtaining the DHSc has helped them achieve career goals.
I believe that possessing the DHSc degree allowed me to transition effectively from clinical medicine to teaching. In addition, I have thrived in the teaching environment, becoming a PA program director after 3 years of teaching and eventually being promoted to the rank of Professor. The DHSc degree has been an important part of my growth and maturation in academia.
