The Division of Rheumatology is committed to advancing knowledge through clinical and translational research focused on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Our faculty are engaged in investigator-initiated studies, collaborative projects with basic and clinical scientists, and the development of novel therapeutics through clinical trials.

We are particularly interested in improving disease detection, understanding pathophysiologic mechanisms, and optimizing treatment outcomes for patients with complex rheumatic conditions. As a growing academic division, we are actively building a research infrastructure that supports innovation, scholarly activity, and future fellowship training.
