Dr. Yu is the Director and an Associate Professor of the Reproductive Clinical Science Master’s and PhD programs in the School of Health Professions. She received comprehensive training in reproductive endocrinology research at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine. Her research focuses on implantation failure and reproductive toxicology.
Dr. Yu has authored book chapters and published numerous peer-reviewed articles, and she teaches graduate-level courses in reproductive clinical sciences. Dr. Yu received the 2013 EVMS Community Faculty Student/Resident Research Award, the 2017 Professional Enrichment and Growth Grant, and the 2019 Career Development Workshop Award funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Society for Reproductive Investigation.
In 2023, Dr. Yu and her faculty team were honored with the President’s Team Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to program instruction and training excellence.
