Jon D. Mason, MD

Dr. Mason is a retired Navy medical officer and is board certified in pediatrics, emergency medicine and is certified in the subspecialty of pediatric emergency medicine. He has been in the Hampton Roads area since 1994 and holds the rank of professor at EVMS.

He has been teaching emergency medicine in residency faculty positions starting at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth and in 1997 transitioned into the emergency medicine department of EVMS and the pediatrics department at CHKD.

His interests include medical ethics and behavioral health in children
