David Neal Blakey, MD

Dr. Blakey grew up in North Carolina and spent eight years in the United States Navy. During that time, Dr. Blakey completed his internship in family medicine and then his residency in anesthesiology.  He realized early on in his residency that he preferred working with kids versus adults and soon after leaving the Navy decided to join the CHKD family, where he acted as the director of pediatric anesthesia for 14 years.
