Brant M. Cox, MBA, is Chief Operating Officer of EVMS. Mr. Cox served as Chief of Staff at EVMS for five years. In October 2015, he was named Vice President of Operations with direct responsibility for External Affairs, which includes Development, Alumni Relations and Marketing and Communications.
Mr. Cox is no newcomer to EVMS. For nearly 14 years, he worked with EVMS Obstetrics and Gynecology, serving in a variety of positions including Vice Chair of Administration.
Immediately prior to his appointment as Chief of Staff, Mr. Cox worked at Virginia Tech as Director of Business Planning and Development. His previous professional experience also includes positions at Amerigroup Corporation and other healthcare companies.
Mr. Cox holds an MBA from Old Dominion University.
