Dr. Cecchini was raised in a rural community in Kentucky, then lived in Tennessee for medical school and residency.

Following internal medicine residency, she came to EVMS/ODU to complete a pulmonary/critical care fellowship. Dr. Cecchini thoroughly enjoyed her experience at EVMS and decided to stay on as faculty.

Dr. Cecchini is a provider in the cystic fibrosis clinic, which is her primary area of research. Additional topics of interest include shock and resuscitation, medical education and quality improvement.

In her free time, she enjoys working out, traveling with friends, hiking, and spending time with her cat Ally.
