    • Dr. Hadiza Galadima joined the Graduate Program of Public Health and the EVMS-Sentara Healthcare Analytics and Delivery Science Institute (HADSI) in October 2015. Prior, she was a research associate in the Department of Health Care Policy and Research at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Dr. Galadima received her PhD from the Department of Biostatistics at VCU in August 2015 where her dissertation research focused on methods to control for confounding in nonrandomized observational studies mainly via the use of propensity score methods. Dr. Galadima received her bachelor's degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the St. Cloud State University in December 2008. Her research interests and expertise include propensity score analysis, statistical methods in epidemiology, model misspecification in regression adjustment for AUC, and spatial statistics. In her spare time, Dr. Galadima enjoys cooking (especially experimenting with new recipes), traveling and working on various graphic design projects ranging from making logos, to taking photos, and creating web pages.
