New students arrive for EVMS Institutional Orientation
231 Doctor of Medicine and Medical Master’s students began their orientation online on Wednesday, Aug. 5. During the program, Dr. Robert Fullilove, Associate Dean for Community and Minority Affairs, at Columbia University, gave a keynote address entitled Race, Health, and COVID-19: Lessons Learned from the Pandemic.
On Friday, Aug. 7, students will be on campus in phases picking up their Identification badges, PPE and white coats.
Students in Art Therapy & Counseling, Public Health, Surgical Assisting, Biotechnology, Pathologists’ Assistant and Biomedical Sciences (PhD and Research) will be on campus Wednesday, Aug. 19.
