The Diabetes in Pregnancy program, located within each EVMS Maternal-Fetal Medicine location, the team is comprised of Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES) who can provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to diabetes management before and during pregnancy. In addition, we have providers who are Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BD-ADM) who have a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide each patient with diabetes through pregnancy.

Our goal is to ensure women with diabetes a healthy pregnancy outcome for both mother and child.  Our services include both co-managed care with the referring physician or complete obstetric and diabetes care with Maternal-Fetal Medicine when deemed appropriate. We look forward to working with each patient through the pregnancy journey.
