Visual Conversations: Community Resilience Over Violence

The “Visual Conversations: Community Resilience Over Violence” series will continue next month at The Sanctuary of Hope Church in Portsmouth. Workshops feature 30-minute presentations on topics related to Gun Violence, Trauma Informed Care, Mentoring Youth and Fostering Resilience. Presenters include faculty from EVMS’ Master of Public Health and Art Therapy and Counseling, MS programs. Reflective art making and open discussion, facilitated by an art therapist, will follow.

Sessions are scheduled for Wednesdays, Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Ages 14 and up are welcome (minors may participate with signed parental/guardian permission).
