Psychiatry Grand Rounds Lecture: Unconventional Substance of Abuse in the Child and Adolescent Population

Dylan Golomb, MD, EVMS Psychiatry Chief Resident will present "Unconventional Substance of Abuse in the Child and Adolescent Population."

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Students, Primary Care Providers, and Healthcare Professionals.

OBJECTIVES:
Following this presentation, participants will be able to: 1. Identify emerging or unconventional substances of abuse and why child and adolescent patients may be drawn to these substances. 2. Identify signs of acute intoxication, chronic use, or withdrawal syndrome 3. Examine treatment considerations and options.
