DVM (1998) - Emphasize in medicine, assisted reproduction and research of multiple species including 15+ years in non-human primates, animal welfare and research environment; BSL-2/3 research settings, 11+ years of laboratory animal research and 10+years in education and curriculum development.

Experienced private practice, primate center medicine, academia and contract research settings plus as a consultant for biomedical research institutions

Proficiency in ultrasonography, clinical management and surgery

Broad animal welfare and regulatory knowledge of the research setting including one year as a USDA APHIS veterinary medical officer, 14 years as IACUC member and OSHA and biosafety committees

Extensive experience in supervision, administration and quality improving; including various AAALAC inspections/accreditations.
