Experts from EVMS and Sentara Healthcare will answer questions about COVID-19 vaccination as it relates to issues of pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility and children’s health on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. During the one-hour, virtual event, panelists will cover important information concerning what is normal to experience after vaccination, long-term effects of the virus and overall vaccine safety.

The session will also include discussions about:

  • the safest decisions to make during pregnancy.
  • common questions from breastfeeding parents.
  • fertility concerns related to vaccination.
  • ways to protect the unvaccinated and what to know about children’s health.

Panelists for the event include Marie Moser, MD, Sentara Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists, Lea Porche, MD, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Gwendolyn Williams, MD, Sentara Hospital Medicine Physicians.
