to participate in several research projects related to the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Participants must generally meet all of the following:
- Be healthy
- Have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Have been in stable treatment for 4 weeks
- Additional screening will be conducted to assess specific study requirements

Social Sensory Study
Part of the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is to do research on questions about the diagnosis and treatment of ASD. Currently, we are looking at the relation between cognitive, sensory, and social factors in adults with ASD. If you (or your child) are a healthy young adult between the age of 16 and 30, have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and have been on stable medication for at least 4 weeks, you may be eligible to participate in the study. There are no additional costs to participate in this study. All participants will be compensated for their time. For more information about the study, please call 757-446-5176.
