Volunteers Needed

to participate in several research projects related to the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Participants must generally meet all of the following:

  • Be healthy
  • Have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Have been in stable treatment for 4 weeks
  • Additional screening will be conducted to assess specific study requirements

Study of galantamine as treatment for emotional problems of autism

The EVMS Autism Spectrum Disorder Program is conducting a clinical research trial of a potential medication for emotion regulation, information processing and flexibility of thought in ASD with all cognitive levels. Study participants must be 12-25 years old with a pre-established diagnosis of ASD. Participants must be generally healthy. The study will last for approximately four months and require five visits to EVMS lasting one to two hours each.
