Bioinformatics Analytics Core Facility
The Bioinformatics Analytics Core facility is located at EVMS in Lewis Hall and our physical mailing address can be found on the Contact Us page. Our start-up was funded by the EVMS Office of Research and we maintain operations through the fees charged for the services we provide in addition to direct donations by generous philanthropists in the community. We are not currently offering paid access to our analysis software due to licensing constraints.
Patric Lundberg, PhD
Core Facility Director
Associate Professor, Microbiology
Patric directs the operations and projects that come through the Bioinformatics Analytics Core; he has extensive experience in generating complex analyses from both large and small data sets. In addition to helping researchers analyze their data using bioinformatics techniques, he is also experienced in experimental development and data collection. The Lundberg Lab researches the initiation of inflammation in the CNS during herpes simplex encephalitis and Patric has over 20 years of experience in animal, gene expression and bioinformatics research.
Alexandria Rossheim, BS
Research Assistant II, Microbiology
Alexandria joined the Bioinformatics Analytics Core at its inception in Spring 2016. Her daily contribution is to assist in data processing and management, and to develop database models for use in analysis. Currently she is helping to expand the Core for effective use both by EVMS investigators andoutside entities.
