The year 2021 started off with high hopes of coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world continues to struggle with a global pandemic, extreme environmental strains, wildfires and complex social challenges, our HADSI team leaned into the challenge to provide insight and just-intime research support to better understand the management of COVID through analytic research tools. I could not be more proud of the HADSI team and their accomplishments. 5 years since its inception, HADSI continues to grow and expand by increasing the number of collaborative partners, grant submissions, and service requests. Moving forward, our goal is to further expand the services we provide and utilize multidisciplinary teamwork to further research on the COVID-19 pandemic and health disparities.
