EVMS Research and the EVMS Research Advisory Committee are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 33rd annual EVMS Research Day.

During this year’s event on Friday, Oct. 15, EVMS students, residents, fellows and postdoctoral researchers will present their research findings. All Research Day materials and information can be found on the Research Day MyPortal page and all materials will be submitted this year via REDCap. No email submissions will be accepted.

Applications and Abstracts are due via REDCap on Friday, Sept. 10. Presentation materials are due on Friday, Sept. 24.

This year’s event will be mostly virtual, with the possibility for some in-person or hybrid content if situations allow.

Research Day, pictured here in 2019, was created to enhance the awareness of the exciting and varied basic and applied research that is currently being undertaken in the biomedical field within the EVMS community. This event gives young investigators the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with peers and colleagues in an informal, one-on-one format made available through a poster session. Outstanding abstracts are selected for both poster and oral presentations.
