Checkered Flag Challenge crosses the finish line
EVMS is grateful for the amazing response to its Checkered Flag Challenge. With 348 gifts totaling $100,095, EVMS Fund donors helped the institution race past last year’s total and Deliver on the Promise.
Checkered Flag matched all gifts made to the EVMS Fund — up to $25,000.
"Because of this challenge and all of the donors it brought together, EVMS now has more funding for student scholarships, faculty and clinical recruitment, curriculum enhancements, research and patient care," says Alfred Abuhamad, MD, President, Provost and Dean of the School of Medicine. "For all that you do to improve the healthcare of our region and beyond, I thank you."
