Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy adventuring outdoors and traveling with my husband (a psychiatry resident here at EVMS). However, most of my free time is spent cudding my cats and reading (Practice Bulletins with some fun books squeezed in-between).
What I Like About the Program: Norfolk is wonderful and there is always stuff going on. We residents are truly a family and enjoy seeing each other inside and outside of the hospital. Inside the hospital, everyone works as a cohesive team whether on L&D, Gyn, etc. There's always someone looking out for you (very helpful as an intern). Our faculty are invested in teaching residents and incorporating literature into everyday practice. We also support each other outside the hospital as many resident have marriges, kids, and/or fluffy children.
