AbbVie Fibroid Study

Are you feeling weighed down by your uterine fibroids?

If you experience heavy periods associated with uterine fibroids, you may be eligible to participate in this clinical research study. Qualified participants will receive study-related care and investigational study drug at no cost.

The Clinical Research Center at EVMS is evaluating an oral study drug to see if it may reduce heavy periods associated with uterine fibroids.

You may qualify to participate if you:

  • Are 18 - 50 years old and premenopausal
  • Have heavy periods every month
  • Have uterine fibroids*
  • Are willing to use two forms of non-hormonal birth control, if sexually active.

*A previous diagnosis of uterine fibroids is not required to participate in this study.

 

MYOVANT FIBROID STUDY

Do you have heavy menstrual bleeding and diagnosed with uterine fibroids?

The Clinical Research Center at EVMS is currently recruiting volunteers for a clinical trial of an new investigational medication in women with Heavy Menstrual Bleeding associated with uterine fibroids.

You may qualify to participate if you:

  • have at least one uterine fibroid
  • have heavy menstrual bleeding
  • are not currently breastfeeding or pregnant

Participants receive financial compensation for every completed visit.

OBSEVA FIBROID STUDY

Do you suffer from heavy or long menstrual bleeding?

If yes, you may have uterine fibroids.

Introducing a research study to test whether an investigational drug that targets specific female hormones could help women with heavy bleeding due to fibroids.

Who can participate?

  • Women aged 18 and older with no major health problems
  • Must suffer from heavy menstrual bleeding due to uterine fibroids
  • Not planning to become pregnant in the next two years

Participants Receive Compensation for Every Completed Visit.
